We're talking about people

Who live in cities and communities

With a high crime rate.

And they bitch about their high-crime rate,

So we go out of our way

To police, and protect

And raise their community back to an acceptable standard.

And we kill

And we arrest

And we imprison

These criminals, these thugs, and these bad men.

And how do these little ingrates show their Thanks?

Do we get appreciation? Do we get praise for our efforts?

No.

They gather. And they protest. And they riot.

And they burn their proud cities

Right down to the concrete.

And what do they call our acts

That they demanded so goddamn hard?

They call it abuse. And they call it brutality?

And do you know what the final straw is?

The cherry on the top

Is when they've gotten tired

And worn out

From all that rioting

And fire setting,

They bitch some more

About their communities

Being nothing but ash.

They're asking for it, ya know?

They're asking for those

Armed men in the street.

And they're just begging

For a turret on every corner.
